Our Approach at the Law Office of Karen R. Leder

Each client has a unique family situation. When you work with us, we make sure we understand your family's dynamics and financial structure as fully as possible. We then formulate a legal strategy that best meets your needs without charging more in legal fees than necessary. Whether you have only one issue to dispute or several, we can help you efficiently and amicably resolve and document them with the court. For disputed issues, we give you several options regarding how to proceed so that, at all times, you are the one piloting the ship.

Ms. Leder has 30 years of experience as a litigator, and is comfortable and effective in any courtroom setting, including hearings and trials. Having begun her career as a corporate litigator in federal court, she began practicing family law exclusively in 1993. She feels an enormous commitment and enthusiasm for issues that affect the individual, as there is nothing more personal or important than family relationships and personal financial needs.

Our Commitment

You should never compromise your rights simply because an attorney lacks the gumption or experience to aggressively pursue what is in your best interests with respect to both custody and financial issues. While we are happy to amicably resolve any issues that so lend themselves, we will never pressure you to settle when a hearing or trial is more likely to meet your goals.
